Bonjour! Meet Gerard, a Bichon Frise mix with lots of charm and character (the breed name is French for “curly lap dog”)! He’s a smart observer, and takes in what’s going on around him at all times. Gerard is a bit quirky and has his own funny version of tag. While sitting on someone’s lap, he’ll watch younger pups play from a distance; will occasionally try to jump in, but quickly realizes he would rather tag out! He’s very protective, and strange dogs and people put him in a tizzy (strange – puts any two or four legged in a tizzy). An understanding person that can redirect Gerard in these situations is totally necessary for this cutey’s adoption. You certainly won’t be bored with Gerard!
