Last night, Lucky and I (of course Lucky was lounging in her bag) stopped by The Four Seasons hotel after work to visit with some friends. We bumped into and started chatting with the New York Yankees famed third baseman, Alex Rodriguez about attending our upcoming annual Paws For Style charity event benefiting the Humane Society of New York presented by CESAR. At first he seemed a bit reluctant to speak with me (who wouldn’t with all the controversy surrounding him at the moment) but then A-Rod opened up and shared his story about recently losing his pet German Shepherd, how he loves all animals, and would definitely go to bat to help homeless animals. The Yankee All-Star was sweet but in general seemed very saddened. He could use some puppy love right now – Hey A rod if you happen to read this- my movie is almost ready!!!!!
