Sterling Sugar Magnolia (aka “Shug”) knows it all! She’s a sassy pup that all pooches should go to when they need advice, Whether it’s concerning hygiene, diet, or puppy dreams, Shug offers sound tips that pets yearning for more in a timely book called The Complete Petrosexual, which is people-friendly and co-written by her owner Nola Thacker.
Shug, a pooch, lets everyone in on the secret of how she evolved into the dynamic doggie she is today, In her sensational hit book, The Complete Petrosexual, she provides her fellow doggies and feline friends with wisdom that will aid them on their fun journey,
“Do not under any circumstances allow your human to think it is okay for you to sleep on the floor,” Shug tells her fellow pets. Although her advice may worry somepet owners who fear their furry friends might become egotistical, Shug just wants pets to be treated equally. After all, they need love too! Shug is just telling owners and their pets that animals should have their own comfortable spot in the house. Even if it is in their owner’s bed! But don’t fret! Shug encourages pets to get their own beds to avoid being kicked at night or awakened by snoring.
Shug also gives humans advice too. “You say Manolo, I say chew toy,” Shug quips, simply reminding ladies who love nice shoes to protect their most prized possessions! Shug tells owners exactly what’s on pets’ minds. It doesn’t matter how much your shoes cost. If they are lying on the floor they’re fair game!
And Shug is even a fashion critic to those who can’t seem to keep up with the latest trends. “Unless you are going to the Oscars, sunglasses and feathers don’t mix,” Shug reveals. Although this may cause some bad feelings between the pooches and felines, Shug doesn’t want to hurt anybody. Her sole purpose in giving advice is so that she can help transform pets. “Without manners, dogs are just … well … people,” Shug says.
Since dogs can’t talk, they communicate through body lan-guage. This makes it hard for some owners to understand what their dog is trying to express. And because Shug knows that humans aren’t always the brightest, she explains to owners what the renowned “tail tuck” means. “Tucking your tail between your legs is the only method of training your biped to forgive those unfortunate interspecies mishaps,” Shug explains. So after your dog has finished chewing your Manolos and she glares at you with those puppy dog eyes and has her tail between her legs, you are now aware that she is begging for your forgiveness. After all who can resist those furry, irresistible friends that mean so much to us.
