Kanye West may not be a friend to Taylor Swift but he doesn’t seem to show much compassion to furry four legged creatures either.
Kanye West was named to PETA’s “Worst Dressed” list for 2009.
Kanye made a remark at a Stella McCartney fashion show that the collection shown could have used more fur, mind you he did this in front of vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Paul McCartney, and singer Pink.
This improper comment led Pink to makes a few angry comments of her own,
“Kanye West is the person pissing me off right now. I was at Stella McCartney’s Paris fashion show with the vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Paul McCartney and Kanye West. The entire time Kanye is going, ‘They need more fur in this show.’ He just wouldn’t shut up about how he loved fur. I mean, he’s saying this to me, the PETA guy and Paul McCartney!”
Pink even suggests in the same interview that the rapper should donate his own “fur” to see just what it feels like. This is, as it already common knowledge, an argument PETA uses on a regular basis and which implies people showed the same respect to animals they show to all human beings. “I was just so grossed out by him. I’m like, ‘You’re an idiot!’ There are so many people who I think are a waste of skin and he’s up there. I should wear him. Go on, donate yourself Kanye. People can wear your fur.” the singer adds.
