Echo Canyon – Fossil Ridge Loop – Once you and your best friend have settled in, don’t forget to exercise! Walking is an essential part of the lifestyle of a healthy dog. This beautiful trail is the perfect place to walk your dog. It is 4.5 miles long, and will take anywhere from 1-3 hours to complete. It’s a great excuse to get a little exercise in for yourself as well! But remember.. Vegas gets hot, so keep your pet cool and comfy!
Hydrant Park – VIP clubs are a staple here in Vegas, but how many of the clubgoers have four legs? Hydrant Park started as a part of the Downtown Project, which founder and Alpha Leader Cathy Brooks was introduced to by Zappos CEO, Tony Hsieh. Hsieh saw the lack of places where pups are free to run around and just be themselves, so he funded the project and helped Brooks’ dream become a reality. The now thriving dog park is a social club where only well-trained and healthy dogs are accepted as members. They do offer obedience classes if you’d like to teach your old dog some new tricks.
Omni Limousine – If you feel like hitting the town in style, put on a dress and grab your pup’s fanciest leash, because Omni Limo is a pet-friendly service! Whether you’re going to a club or a fancy dinner or even just sightseeing, you can arrive in style with your best friend by your side. After all, you are in Vegas…
Paws & Boot Camp – Get ready to start sweating – or panting – because it’s workout time! Bond with your pooch and socialize with other dog lovers all while getting in shape. Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theater – The world renowned animal trainer Gregory Popovich has rescued all of his fellow performers from animal shelters, and now they want to invite you to their show! The Cosmopolitan has a pop-up wedding chapel for humans and dogs alike! Packages start at just $80, so don’t feel like you have to break Baby’s record.
Okay, that all sounds wonderful, but where would you eat? Well don’t worry about leaving Scruffy or Spike or Lady anywhere, because there are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants right in Vegas!
Grape Street Café – If you want to get away from the madness that is the strip for a little while, pay a visit to one of Vegas’ best Italian spots! Fatburger – If you’re feeling like some traditional American food, head on over to Fatburger. Food critics rave over this place and its juicy hamburgers and real ice cream shakes. And there’s a very good reason it’s called a Fatburger, too… the sizes or the hamburgers range from small to XXXLarge! If you get the latter, you may have to share with Fido… good thing he’s welcome!
