Support Endangered Species Day!

Today, May 16th, is Endangered Species Day. According to International Union for Conservation of Nature there are 17,315  vulnerable  and 3,800 critically endangered species in the world. That is 17,315 too many.

One such endangered species is the Amur Tiger, only 350 of which are alive in the wild.  The International Fund for Animal Welfare is working to save these animals through rehabilitation efforts.

Zoluska is one of these rehabilitated tigers. The IFAW took her in after she was orphaned and now a few years later she is happy and healthily living in the wild. Three other tigers are currently in the IFAW’s care to, hopefully, be released soon.
