Dear Lucky,
I am a little Shih Tzu and whenever my owner takes me in the car, she makes it really safe for me by putting me in my car seat. I know a pug who is going on a long car trip but he doesn’t think car seats are necessary (he won’t ever ask for directions either). What can I do?

You sound like a good friend. It’s important to be safe in cars, whether you’re a Chihuahua or a Golden Retriever. Invite your friend and his owner along for a ride so they can see for themselves. For us little dogs, the fact that car seats boost you up a few inches works well when cruising the sidewalk! This is one accessory no dog should be without!
