Besides being an immense dog-lover, J.E. Phelan is passionate both about writing and theatre. He has had several articles published in Animal Fair and continues to enjoy his time writing plays, short stories and magazine articles. Phelan graduated from Hofstra University with a major in English/Creative Writing. He’s written, directed and produced three short films while his play, The Mourning, was produced at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre. He currently lives in Syosset, Long Island.
