Author Andrew De Prisco’s involvement with purebred dogs began in the late 1980s. Over the course of this career, he has written dozens and edited hundreds of dog books for T.F.H. Publications, Animalia, Ltd, Kennel Club Books, and BowTie Press. De Prisco’s most popular titles include Choosing a Dog for Life, A New Owner’s Guide to Training the Perfect Puppy, and Canine Lexicon. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Kennel Club Books and is an award-winning member of the Dog Writers Association of America. De Prisco lives with his significant other and their three dogs and three Bengal cats in New Jersey.
