Ali Wentworth Is Living It Up When She Isn’t Spoiling Her Two Dogs
Ali Wentworth is light years away from being just another average co-host on television and you will get the chance to see why on her new show Living It Up With Ali and Jack coming this fall. Ali isn’t your typical innocent and sugar sweet co-host; she is comical, witty and bursting with charisma!
Ali Wentworth is remembered early on in her career as a character on In Living Color, most recently on Hard Ball and frequently on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Her new co-host on Living it Up is the handsome Jack Ford, an Emmy Award winning anchor and correspondent. Ali and Jack make a brilliant and hilarious pair on Living It Up with Ali and Jack. The show is destined to be a television favorite starting this fall season.
Behind every charming woman that Animal Fair features there’s a family link including a few furry friends. Ali has a busy schedule and the life of an actress includes very long hours and tiring days. However, Ali doesn’t worry much because she knows she gets to go home to her two loving dogs Gilbert a dachshund, and Charlie a terrier/dachshund mix and last but not least, her husband, George Stephanopoulous.
“Gilbert is like the Sir lan’s character in Gods and Monsters, he is older and cranky while Charlie is more like Brandon Frazier- his cute little toy. Gilbert is always grumpy and Charlie always gets it,” remarks Ali. As for her husband, “George has the personality of a Norwich. He is a real terrier, always interested in life, his mind is always working.” If Ali was single she told Animal Fair that she would date a mutt “because they are one of a kind!”
Both of Ali’s pups were rescued from the East Valley Shelter in Los Angeles. What fortunate dogs to find Ali as their beloved owner. Ali admits she does spoil them quite a bit and treats them with whatever they want. Ali and her husband George give in when they look at them with their sad puppy eyes and let Gilbert and Charlie sleep on their bed at night.
Ali’s favorite way to spend time with her tiny canines is to take them for a run on the beach with her. She also enjoys curling up with her pups for a nap. When traveling, Ali brings Charlie and Gilbert along in the car for the ride. “They sleep the whole time.”
One time while at home, Ali found her pup Gilbert on the kitchen table eating a pie. He finished the whole inside! The pie turned out to be the dessert she prepared for a dinner party she was throwing that night. Being the character that she is, Ali covered it up with whipped cream and served it as is without telling her guests. Bone appetite!
Ali appreciates her dogs for their companionship, slobbering, kisses and of course their comical mishaps.
