This Thanksgiving, have a dog-gone good time with a couple of Hollywood legends! Old Dogs, the new family comedy from the director of Wild Hogs, stars John Travolta and Robin Williams as best friends and business partners who get more than they bargained for when Williams’ ex-wife hits him with a big surprise. Travolta, who starred in Wild Hogs, made this light-hearted comedy a family affair, as his real-life wife, Kelly Preston and daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, co-star in big roles. Old Dogs also stars Matt Dillon, Seth Green, Justin Long, Rita Wilson and the late Bernie Mac, in his final role.
When Dan’s (Williams) ex-wife, Vicki (Preston) reveals that they have twins, a shocked Dan recruits his best friend, Charlie (Travolta) to help him spend time with the 7-year olds and take care of them. Travolta’s own daughter, Ella, plays one of the twins. The two inexperienced “dads” and children go through a series of misadventures, including a camping trip gone awry and a day at the zoo where Seth Green’s character, Ralph, gets a little too close to a gorilla! The experience proves to be a life-changing one, as both Dan and Charlie receive an important lesson in the power of family and love, while having a bit of fun along the way!

In 2001, John Travolta wrote the foreword in Chris Ameruoso’s Pets and Their Celebrities, a collection of photographs featuring some of Hollywood’s biggest stars with their four-legged pals. Funnyman Robin Williams is also an animal lover and helps out with the Dogs Deserve Better charity, which strives to end the negligence of dogs and find them loving homes. This holiday, bring the whole “litter” to the movies and see Old Dogs, a film guaranteed to have parents and “pups” of all ages howling with laughter!
