Brad Pitt was filming Seven Years In Tibet on location in Argentina when he noticed a stray dog roaming the city streets. Seeing the gentleness under the necessary wariness, Brad decided he could not leave this dog behind. Brad named him Blanco, and when filming was over, arranged to bring him home to join his other dogs at home. Laura Salter of the World Society of the Protection of Animals agrees that stray animals are a problem all over the world, including Argentina. The WSPA dispatches teams all over the world to try to alleviate the problem of strays.
