Dear Lucky,
My family loves traveling during the summer, and they always take me along. While I’ve being on vacation with my family, I do not like being in the car for too long. Do you have any tips to make being on the road any easier?

Dear Traveling Tabby,
Being in a moving automobile is scary – and I know all about traveling! You absolutely need a cat carrier for these trips. You’ll be happier having your own place in the car, and your family will be safer if you’re not roaming around the vehicle. If having your own crate full of toys and snacks doesn’t help, go see your vet and ask if he thinks sedatives – or travel-sickness pills, if you get sick in transit – might be a good idea.
