Get ready for the perfect summer afternoon activity for families and anyone looking to adopt a new pet! Join us and our host, Dylan Lauren, on Friday, July 8th, 2016 at the Dylan’s Candy BarN Dog Rescue Event at the East Hampton location! Spend your summer with a trained and vaccinated pup from the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hampton’s (ARF) for available on-site adoption.
Dylan’s Candy BarN was created by Dylan Lauren, founder & CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar. The granting foundation is committed to supporting animal welfare organizations through endeavors such as hosting fundraising events at Dylan’s Candy Bar’s national locations, encouraging adoption, assisting rescue efforts, and highlighting the value of formal pet training and proper pet care.
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) provides for the health and welfare of dogs and cats on the south fork of Long Island, offering shelter and adoption services, medical care, spaying and neutering, as well as community outreach and humane education programs.
Plenty of pets need a loving home and for the past 40 years, ARF has been trying to find a solution to this problem. Over 1,000 animals are placed in homes every year–animals that would have spent their (shortened) lives at puppy mills or high-kill shelters. So many animals have been saved since the Animal Rescue Fund put their paws to the cause!
The store will be open from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and welcomes the public to join in support of animal adoption. A portion of the day’s sales will benefit ARF!
