Slumdog Millionaire was Lucky’s pick for best picture because (besides the Acadmey’s choice), yes, “dog” is in the title, but the film itself captures the tone of an area plagued by such plight but at the same time it brings hope to these areas where such honest, hard-working people live. Lucky’s dear friends Dev Patel starred in the film, and Oscar winner song track composer and recording artist A.R. Rahman, were thrilled to hear Lucky’s take on the underdog does good movie. Much like Lucky herself!
