Californians may have gotten used to having the Terminator as their governor, but what about James Bond designing pet-friendly license plates?
Pierce Brosnan, actor and international super-stud, recently unveiled his original artwork for a new California license plate with some purr-sonality. The tags feature a painting by the former 007 of his dog, Shilo, and cat, Angel Baby.
Proceeds from the Spay & Neuter License Plate Fund are donated to animal shelters throughout the state to increase the availability of low-cost spay and neuter programs and to spread awareness about pet overpopulation.
Hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats are being put down in shelters every year because there are just not enough homes for all of them. By spaying and neutering our pets, we can ensure that no animals are brought into this world without a place to rest their heads, and that those without a home can be adopted into kind and loving families. By purchasing the California Spay & Neuter License Plate you can do your part to see that at least one less pet will be euthanized thanks to your donation.
The program is still taking pre-orders from animal-lovers across California, so if you’d like to be riding in style down the 405 while supporting a good cause, please visit www.caspayplate.com or call (800)390-1541 for more information.
