Kirtan Rasa was born in Los angeles to parents immersed in the art of yoga. Growing up on a commune, he had the opportunity to tend to and milk cows, ride horses, play with snakes, and explore the mountains. Rasa lived and studied for a year in Vrndavan, India, the most sacred place for devotees of Krsna. While there Rasa swam in the rivers with water buffalos and played soccer amidst the peacocks. He moved to Brazil and since 2003 has worked for Body and Soul Adventures.
