One of the most popular Rosh Hashanah customs involves eating sliced apples dipped in honey. Historically Jews believed apples had healing properties, and the honey signifies the hope that the new year will be sweet.

Raw honey has many benefits for dogs! Make sure the honey has not been heated, pasteurized or adulterated with other ingredients. Historically, people have used honey to treat many ailments and dogs can benefit to! Be sure to limit the amount of honey to the size of your dog as to much sugar is not good for any dog (or person)!
