Our 7th Annual Toys For Dogs Brings – Brings Home The True Spirit Of Giving
Animalfair.com – has done it again this holiday season! Wendy and Lucky Diamond hosted last night’s adorable annual Toys for Dogs benefit at NYC’s Mark Miller Gallery to a sold out crowd that brought toys for homeless dogs, with over 600 dog toys and treats collected for the Humane Society of New York.
Aasif Mandvi from The Daily Show, who was recently picked up for a new CBS sitcom, popped in – for a good cause! Daily Show alum and voice of the hit Frank DeCaro Show on Sirius XM Radio, was our ‘Secret Santa’! Doggie moms and real housewives of New York; Karen Biehl and Grace Forster were jolly, and Countess Luann’s boyfriend wine magnum mogul, Jacques Azulay’s Les Compagnons wine was forever flowing…
Les Compagnons (gabriellawines.com) sports a dog on the bottle logo and promotes adoption – perfect for the Toys for Dogs theme! The Bootlegger Vodka; Holiday Puptails and Peppermint Muttini spirits were a big hit of the evening!
Mister Manners himself, Thomas Farley couldn’t help but provide guests with holiday ‘petiquette’ tips. Award winning pet courier Anthony Rubio of Bandit Rubio Designs with his two Chihuahuas dressed in festive Xmas outfits were spreading seasonal cheer! A bevy of Ford Male Models in search of puppy love (sorry ladies – with dogs up for adoption). Australian wedding dress designer extraordinaire Henry Roth brought a romantic presence to those thinking of a love commitment this holiday season (even committing to adopting a pet).
Roller Girl rolled in with her Chanukah menorah dog! You Tube sensation (over 200 million views) actress Lauren Francesca and her pup created a media buzz! HSN’s Dr. Jennifer Jablow (Dr.WhiteSmile) with her husband Fox Executive, Jordan Lippner had all the dogs up for adoption smiling brightly.
We thank all New York City pet lovers who joined together at the Toy for Dogs soiree in the true seasonal spirit of giving, with proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of New York. Please remember to support your local shelter this holiday season and consider adopting, volunteering, or donating! For more information contact Sandra at the Humane Society: 212.752.4842.
