Although it’s always nice to get away from home, feline-fanatics soon miss the company of a furry friend. Now there is a guidebook perfect for those who can’t imagine being away from a kitty companion. PURR-FECT PLACES TO STAY: Bed & Breakfasts, Country Inns, and Hotels With Resident Cats, by Susan Bard Hall, is believed to be the first and only directory of its kind to focus exclusively on lodging properties in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom with resident cats — cats that reside there full-time. A resident cat can help reduce withdrawal pangs of leaving your furry friend behind and makes a country inn feel like home. The cats, as you can imagine, bask in the attention and affection of property owners and guests alike. Some of the inns even allow you to BYOP (that’s right, Bring Your Own Pet), just be sure to let them know in advance….
We have listed just a few of the charming inns from Hall’s guidebook, all purr-fect for any cat-lover on vacation.
