Brooke Shields Presents The ARF Champion of Animals Award To Peter Marino!

Bow Wow Meow To Brooke Shields For Supporting ARF!

The Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) of the Hamptons, Inc. isn’t just your regular adoption center, it’s incredibly inspiring … ARF is located in the East Hamptons outside of NYC, a place best known for being the luxurious playground for the celebrity rich and famous including Howard Stern, Martha Stewart, J-Lo, P Diddy, and Kelly Rippa.  Even with all the fanfare, there are still plenty of precious pups and cats that need a loving home. And this is where ARF comes in.

For the past 40 years, ARF has been actively finding placement solutions for the disenfranchised and homeless animals. Over 1,000 animals are placed in homes every year, and it takes a community of animal advocates, generous volunteers, and vocal celebrities to make this happen.

Actress and business woman Brooke Shields emceed the event and along with current board members Katharine and William P. Rayner honored Peter Marino with the ARF Champion of Animals Award. Animal Fair Media‘s Wendy Diamond was there and congratulated Peter Marino for receiving the award for all he does to help make animals without a home have a better life!

ARF is a very unique and special animal rescue organization. Most of their animals come from animal control centers, puppy mill rescue efforts, and from people who can no longer care for their pets. They provide food, spaying and neutering services, bathing and grooming, a warm place to sleep, and excellent veterinary care for each and every animal. ARF also give the animals lots of love and provide exercise, and play time. Woof – woof!
