It’s been a ruff year for LA Ink star, Kat Von D, but the tenacious tattoo artist looks to the future with admirable optimism. True to her name and persona, Kat Von D was the proud parent of a hairless sphynx kitten who tragically died in a house fire in November of 2010 while Von D was on tour promoting her book ‘The Tattoo Chronicles” which explores her development as an artist. And while the burn wounds were only just starting to heal, news of the dissolution of Von D’s engagement to fellow reality star, Jesse James, just hit the blogosphere. And though this tough chick has been able to keep her chin up through it all, she has not been without help and support namely from her recently adopted hairless sphynx, Piaf, named after the eponymous French singer.
Lucky and Pasha know just how important it is for a pet to be there for their parent and are confident that Piaf will do an excellent job taking care of her mom during difficult times, though they do want to warm her not to let Kat give her cat any of her trademark tattoos!
