Alison Sweeney, judge on Biggest Loser, was in New York City helping Hill’s Science Diet get the bark out about keeping your pets fit and healthy! Her own rescue Boston Terrier Winky, named for having sadly lost one of her eyes in a dog fight, just LOVES the new Hill’s Science Diet! She was able to use it to lose those last couple of puppy fat pounds she could never be rid of!
Now a couple pounds may not sound like a lot, but to a human, those couple pounds would feel like an extra fifteen pounds on us! Not only do pets look healthier when they get rid of those extra love handles, they feel better too. Alison says that Winky has much more energy now and can keep up with her rescued Chihuahua Jorge and her son Ben. Ben loves helping Winky keep to her weight lost plan by playing ball with Winky to make sure she gets her exercised!
To make sure all pets and their parents know the importance of not overfeeding and keeping fit, Sweeney and Hill’s have started the Science Diet Million Pound Pledge! Where pet’s (with their parent’s permission of course) can go online to www.petfit.com and pledge to lose those extra pounds! Together Hill’s hopes to lower the estimated 54 percent of over weight pets in the United States. Pet parents even get a little something out of the pledge! For their pup’s pledge they get a “Try Me Free” rebate for a Science Diet weight management food that they can turn in at PetSmart! With interactive weight loss tools and progress reports Hill’s Science Diet couldn’t make it any easy to help pet parents get their four legged friends into shape!
