Miley Cyrus and her pets apparently said that they “can’t wait to see you again” when they topped Animal Fair’s Most Eligible Pets list last year, since they’re back again! Cyrus’s stardom has skyrocketed in the last year, making Loco, a Shih Tzu, and Roadie, a Yorkie, more popular than ever.
In the last year, Cyrus’s Disney Channel show Hannah Montana has become exceedingly popular. It won ASCAP, Artios, and Young Artist Awards, and was even nominated for an Emmy! Cyrus herself won Favorite Television Actress in both the Kids Choice Awards and the Teen Choice Awards. The Hannah Montana Movie is coming out in 2009. Cyrus also stars in the animal-loving film Bolt as the voice of Penny, released at the end of 2008.
Cyrus’s career as a singer has also flourished. Her debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus, is triple platinum, and her 2008 album, Breakout, debuted at #1 and has hit platinum. Her big hits of 2008 were “See You Again” and “7 Things”.
Although her pet peeves are spiders and snakes, Cyrus loves animals. The 16-year-old star was born in Franklin, Tennessee and raised on her family’s ranch outside Nashville. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, got her into singing early in life, but while singing she was raising animals! She began riding horses at the age of 2. She has several horses, cows, chickens, and two cats all on the ranch. Now, her grandmother takes care of all the farm animals while Miley and her family work in Los Angeles.
With Cyrus seeing such fame, Loco and Roadie are getting more desirable! Cyrus brings her pups everywhere, hence Roadie’s name. They connect her to her youth that was replete with various animals. Cyrus has gotten two more dogs since 2007: a Chihuahua named Juicy and a Maltese named Minnie Pearl. What puppy love!
One of Cyrus’s favorite activities is shopping, which will definitely come in handy with the holiday season approaching. We don’t know what she’s going to get for her beloved litter of dogs, but it will surely be something furtastic!
