Who has sparkling, come hither eyes, chocolate colored hair so silky that it makes Hershey jealous, and a bark so charming that it knocks the booties off the most beautiful of breeds? The canine in question is none other than the most eligible bachelor in Hollywoof, Lou the Chihuahua. With a co-hosting gig alongside Joel McHale on E! Network’s The Soup, his pup-tastic impressions of mysterious creatures like the El Chupacabra and a fan base of thousands, Lou is one talented catch!
He began his career at The Soup in 2004, where he introduces the “Clip of the Week” and gives Joel a run for his money when it comes to stealing the spotlight. His bark is heard around the world every Friday night on E!, and as The Soup comes to a close at the end of it’s half-hour, Lou leaves his furry female admirers wanting more. When watching the onscreen camaraderie between Lou and Joel it’s understandable to think that Joel is actually his furless parent, but he is already spoken for by the Executive Producer of The Soup Edward Boyd. Although it started off as a relatively quiet show, The Soup has become one of the most popular shows on E!, and is the third highest rated show on the network. When Petstyle.com’s Jill Cordes stopped by the E! studio to meet Lou, she could hardly contain her excitement, gushing to Joel “He’s a Capricorn, I’m a Capricorn! He doesn’t have kids, I don’t have kids! So, like, Lou and I are kinda meant to be is what I’m thinking!” Now that’s true puppy love!
Shooting his show doesn’t give Lou a lot of free time to paw around town, but when he does his wing-man of choice is ladies man and fellow E! star Ryan Seacrest! Both bachelors know a thing or two about luring the ladies, so when these two studs decide to paint the town red it’s sure to be a night filled with tail-wagging thrill rides and pup-tastic pandemonium! Any bachelorette that resembles Rainbow Brite better look out, she’s the one blond bombshell that Lou would happily pass up fire hydrants for if it meant scoring a belly rub!
Raw talent, good looks and a sharp wit are enough to make it in Hollywoof, and Lou encompasses all of that and more! A future furry star on the rise, this doggy bachelor is one catch that will surely not stay single for long!
