Hosea Chanchez has charmed us all as the star of The CW’s The Game! But he has taken on a new role recently! This charismatic nice-guy has learned what true commitment is with his new companion, Lola. Not to worry, ladies – this dreamy star is still on the market! Lola is his three-month-old bulldog! Chanchez has learned what true commitment is and spills about what he’s looking for in a human companion!
The two live in a spiffed-out bachelor pad in Los Angeles, where they share a bed every night. Chanchez is fully aware that her name, Lola, is completely opposite of the lively demeanor she exudes. In fact, this is one of the reasons why he chose the name! “She’s so masculine. So butch. I was like, I gotta have something that’s kind of soft and sweet cause she’s so rough and hard! Something soft. Lola.”
With such a strong personality, one can’t help but wonder, who in Hollywood mirrors this spunky pooch? “She is Rosie O’Donnell peppered in with Star Jones. You know cause she’s kind of sassy and she has all this extra skin.”
However, we at Animal Fair see a striking resemblance between him and his pup! And with a little coaxing, he agreed! “She’s a little bit aggressive. She’s not a morning person, just like me. A little bit lazy, which works cause I can’t deal with a hyper dog! I’m really chilled and relaxed.”
Lazy or not, the two still love to get out of the house together! Since Lola is still young, she’s not ready to go to the parks and play with other dogs yet. But this stud learned very quickly the best places to utilize Lola’s adorable mug and impress the ladies! “Lola’s already done wonders for me. She’s so cute that every woman who sees her, stops and wants to know her name.” And Chanchez knows women well enough to recognize the perfect opportunity to step in and ask for some numbers!
But this charming and handsome man won’t be playing the field forever. In fact, Lola has taught him important lessons in commitment and loyalty. “I think there is hope for me. First step was committing to a dog. Now that I’ve committed to her, I’ll probably do it in the human world.”
With his continuing role on The Game and this new responsibility as dog-owner, Chanchez will be quite the busy man! And it’s obvious he takes his new role seriously. Afterall, Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets!
