The young and talented Miley Cyrus has lived around animals all her life. Her two dogs, Loco, a Shih Tzu, and Roadie, a Yorkie have been a constant source of love and joy for the young starlet. Maybe it’s not a coincidence that the first time she sang on stage with her father, country singer and actor, Billy Ray Cyrus, that they sang, Hound Dog. Loco and Roadie are such inspirational beings that they check in as our # 1 Most Eligible Pets!
Cyrus’s love for her dog knows no bounds, even when it comes to her career. Cyrus almost missed her High School Musical 2 audition when the flight attendants would not let her board the plane with her dog, Loco. Luckily Loco, the eligible Shih Tzu, saved the day and got her on the plane.
Although her pet peeves are spiders and snakes, Cyrus loves animals. The 15 year old star was born in Franklin, Tennessee and raised on the family ranch in the backwoods of Nashville. There she began riding horses at the age of two and later enjoyed braiding their tails. She now has several horses, cows, chickens, and two cats that remained on the ranch and are being cared for by her grandmother. Cyrus misses her animals constantly and says that that was the hardest part of leaving Nashville when the Cyrus family had to move to Los Angeles to shoot her popular Disney television show, Hannah Montana. But the two animals that Cyrus keeps around no matter the time are our # 1 Most Eligible Pets.
After winning “Favorite TV Actress” at the 2007 Kid’s Choice Awards, and “Choice TV Actress in a Comedy” at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards, Cyrus’s success and destiny only continues on with her sold-out “Hannah Montana Concert World Tour” and upcoming Hannah Montana Movie. Loco and Roadie will be along for the ride, for after all, that’s the life of an Eligible Pet!
