Though you may not recognize her name, Hallie Eisenberg’s face is loved all over the world. Best known as “the Pepsi girl”, the eight year old has already worked with some of Hollywood’s top dogs; including Robin Williams, Russell Crowe, Minnie Driver and Al Pacino. Her work in film and television has gained Hallie acclaim from fans and critics alike.
Even more unique is how she consistently uses her fame to spotlight important causes, including the fights against cancer and AIDS. Hallie has also joined numerous celebrities in speaking out about the importance of animal welfare. Among other worthy causes, she has participated in events benefiting the Wildlife Preservation Foundation and the North Shore Animal League.
Recently, Hallie, along with family and beloved golden retriever Tara, appeared at Animal Fair’s Second Annual Canine Comedy in New York City.
The enthused Hallie was host of the event and offered up some personal pup stories and hilarious one-liners in between her introductions of Janeane Garofalo, Kathy Griffin, and cast members from Saturday Night Live. Later, Hallie happily posed with her pooch and the pups brought by the Save a Heart Foundation which were up for adoption.
Is she dazzled by all her success? Hardly. Though Hallie has achieved immense success at an early age, she remains a grounded and personable young lady, always happy to sign autographs and chat with fans. As Hallie herself said, “Everyone thinks I’m a normal kid, and so do I.”
Wonderful? Talented? Compassionate? Sure. Normal? Hmm… Well, not quite.
