AMERICAN AIRLINES
CARRY-ON:
Allowed: Cats, dogs, and household birds.
Maximum carrier dimensions: 23” L x 13” W x 9” H.
Pet counts as one carry-on bag.
CHECKED:
Maximum kennel dimensions:
40” L x 27” W x 30” H.
Maximum weight: 100 pounds.
RESTRICTIONS:
Pets are not allowed during temperatures above 85 degrees or below 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
One pet per passenger, minimum age: eight-weeks old.
FEES:
Carry-on pets: $80 each way.
Checked pets: $100 each way.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
A health certificate is not required for pets traveling within the United States. However, animals must be vaccinated for rabies within
the past twelve months.

BRITISH AIRWAYS

CHECKED:
Allowed: Cats and Dogs. Kennel must be up to International Air Transport Association.
RESTRICTIONS:
Certain types of dogs are not allowed. Minimum age: 10-12 weeks old. Pets more than six weeks pregnant are not allowed as well as animals too sedated to stand upright.

Vaccinations or health and quarantine requirements must be met.

CARGO:
Under the PetSafe program animals are transported as cargo, not checked.

Will not accept sedated animals. Health certification within ten days of departure is required.
