“NUTS FOR MUTTS” DOG SHOW DRAWS PEOPLE BY THE HANDFUL!
New Leash On Life and Animal Planet presented the 4th Annual NUTS FOR MUTTS celebrity judged dog show on April 3, 2005! This amazing event was hosted by Kim Basinger, with comedian, Debra Wilson as MC. Celebrity judges included: Kristen Bell, Melissa Joan Hart, Vicki and Debbie Peterson (The Bangles), Costas Mandylor, George Stults, Sharon Case, James Hyde and many more. Dogs competed in thirty categories and judges selected winners for the coveted Best in Show awards. In addition to the dog show, eighty pet friendly vendors were on site, with pet adoptions and silent auctions. All proceeds went to the New Leash on Life Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescue and placement of abandoned animals.
