NEW YORKERS RALLY TOGETHER FOR
THE “MICHAEL THOMAS BENEFIT”
The Maccioni Family of Le Cirque & Osteria Del Circo, in partnership with the Macdella Cooper Foundation held a benefit for Michael Thomas on April 30, 2005. Michael Thomas is a fellow New Yorker who runs a dog walking service called Pet Pals. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma about six months ago, at the age of twenty-seven.
One of his dedicated clients, Gina Noonan, rallied together other clients and “dog-friendly people in Central Park” to help support Michael and participate in a fundraiser. The amount of caring, kindness and generosity was overwhelming. From doormen to bankers, everyone was willing to give what they could for Michael. The benefit was a huge success and everyone is hoping he can beat this disease. His loving and loyal clients, both people and dogs, are eagerly waiting to have him back!!!
