Dear Lucky,
I know this is not your area of expertise, but I am a cat in need of a doggie advice. My family just recently decided to adopt a new Cocker Spaniel puppy named Paddington. Paddington has done nothing but terrorize me since the day they brought me home. Every time I go to take a nap he pounces on me like fleas on a mutt. I have refrained from scratching him too hard, but I don’t know how much longer I can hold myself back. Please, how do I get my beauty rest back?

Dear Mitsy,
I hate to say this, but maybe you need to just let Paddington have it once. I know that sounds cruel, especially coming from another dog but it sounds like your new pup needs to learn a lesson. One light tap to the nose usually gets the point across and I’m sure that your pup won’t be pouncing on you as much! You need to put the point across that there is a time for play and a time for beauty sleep. Good luck, I wish you many successful catnaps in your future.
