America West Airlines yes Counts towards carry-on baggage allowance. Includes dog, cat, or bird. Not to exceed 17"L x 16"W x 10"H. Health certificate issued within 30 days of originating travel. Rabies certificate for dogs. $50
United Airlines yes If small enough to fit kennel under seat. Includes dog, cat or domesticated household bird. Health certificate issued within 30 days of originating travel. Must be issued within 10 days if traveling via cargo.
Alaska Airlines yes One small pet. Reservations are required for any animals traveling in the passenger cabin except tropical fish. Includes dogs, cats, rabbits, household birds, & tropical fish. Must fit kennel under seat. Valid health certificate issued by a licensed vet within 30 days of travel. If traveling to a cold weather destination, have vet specify acclimatization on health certificate. $50 each way, fish are free.
Northwest Airlines yes If small enough to fit kennel under seat. Kennel is considered carry-on luggage. Notify when making reservations, confirm 24 hours before flight. Maximum kennel size is 17" x 12.3" x 8". Must be less than 15 lbs. Including kennel. Health certificate dated within 10 days of travel. Certificate of Acclimation by licensed vet to confirm that the animal is accustomed to lower temperatures, if weather temperature is forecast to be below 45 degrees F. $50 each way if within the US and Canada
Southwest Airline no . . .
TWA yes A dog, cat, or household bird (canary, parakeet, parrot) if they can fit in a cabin kennel. Will not accept non-domesticated animals such as ferrets, hamsters, ravens, rabbits, & reptiles. Health certificate that is current 10 days prior to the origin travel date. 30 days are allowed for return travel, or another certificate must be issued. $50
American Airlines yes Cats, dogs, and household birds are allowed. Not accepted on Transatlantic, Transpacific, Central or South American flights. One pet carrier per customer. Inform representative in advance, because there is a limit to the number of carry-on pets allowed. $50 each way
Air France yes Pets under 11 lbs must travel in cabin. Inform at time of reservation. .
