Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Angry Birds flocked to Animalfair.com’s 11th Annual Howloween Pet Costume Benefit
A screaming time was had by all last night at AnimalFair.com’s annual and legendary 11th Howloween Pet Costume event benefitting the Humane Society of New York at the Copacabana, hosted by Wendy & Lucky Diamond!
Lucky’s most fabulous and furry friends showed in costume to celebrate a great cause! Amy Winehound made a haunting appearance, the virtual Angry Birds swooped down as dogs (bird dogs?) and Scarface burst through with his gangster entourage. Mysterious Medusa let her fur loose, and canine Katy Perry licked a girl, while Lady Gaga flaunted her poker snout.
Our 11th Howloween Pet Costume grand prize winner was Frankenstein totally aglow with his entire family! Lucky, the ever so gracious hostess removed herself from the running and redirected the spotlight over to guests the entire evening. Although it was difficult to miss her – she made a colorful splash as a proud Peacock!
Celebs that tricked and treated for the Humane Society are sweet Dylan Lauren of Dylan’s Candy Bar (Polo Ralph’s daughter), Celebrity Chef Kerry Heffernan, and the lively cast of Bravo’s new hit show Mad Fashion, including Project Runway alumni Chris March, Izzy Decauwert spellbound as Isadora from Bewitched, and flying high Christine Brown in a Pan Am flight attendant outfit. Rockers Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson enjoyed a “walk on the wild side” with Oliver Stone’s son Sean Stone, TODAY Show’s Sara Haines and Designer Amanda Brotman. Many of the event’s magic moments were captured via video by Fox News’ “crazy-eyed look” Bill Schulz. NBA star Cliff Robinson and TV News “Queen” Tamsen Fadal, New York City natives Camilla Webster and Laura Hill and DJ Teal joined the pack of glamorous guests strutting costumes and kicking off the Howloween weekend fun!
There were some serious treats at the festivities and no one walked or wagged away empty-handed! Guests enjoyed Bootlegger Vodka pumpkin cocktails and Les Compagnons spirits (as in drink – not ghosts). Dogs indulged at the Wellness Pet Food Doggy treat buffet. All two and four-legged guests skipped home with doggie/goodie bags including; $50 gift certificates to the chic Philippe restaurant, Hard Candy makeup, Iams Sensitive Naturals, JW Dog toys, Trident, and our wonderful sponsor Pet Armor (flea and tick protection)!
Thank you everyone for attending and supporting AnimalFair.com’s 11th Annual Howloween Pet Costume charity event! All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of New York, a city landmark that cares and houses thousands of animals yearly – until lucky people adopt!
